Tech support unable to fix imported csv file for over 1 month!

What's going on? I subscribed to 1 year membership, and in my 2nd attempt of importing my transactions, the system doesn't recognize my descriptions. The file is downloaded directly from HSBC Business online banking and I only have about 25 transactions in July. Tech support closed my case, and I had to initiate my case again; now they claim to have fixed my problem, but I just checked, and the problem is the same. Now I'm entering another month, with all my accounting pending. BTW, during this month of down time, I had to request for reimbursement,  and its only for 1 month.

I recognize the urgency of importing your bank transactions to QuickBooks Online (QBO), Ray. I'm here to share details about the CSV template.

 

QBO allows a 3-column table with columns for Date, Description, and Amount, and a 4-column table with columns for Date, Description, Credit, and Debit to choose. To import them, follow these steps:

 

  1. Go to Transactions, then Bank Transactions. 
  2. Click the Link account dropdown, and select Upload from a file. 
  3. Click Drag and drop or select files, then select Continue.
  4. Choose the bank on the QuickBooks Account dropdown, and click Continue. 
  5. Follow the on-screen instructions, and then click Continue, and select Yes. 
  6. Hit Done.
