We are facing a major challenge in importing data into Quickbooks online, even tried using third party tools as well, is there a FTP option available with QB online?

Is an integration with our ERP possible too?

When it comes to integrating ERP into QuickBooks Online (QBO), it'd be best to contact their technical support since it's a third-party application. Any concerns about syncing or integrating the third-party software into your Online account are best handled by their support.

 

You can also export your data to Excel to help give you the flexibility to use them. Simply click the Export icon and select Export to Excel.

In addition to Fiat Lux - ASIA's suggestion, you can explore the QuickBooks Online Apps menu to search for an application for importing data to integrate it with QuickBooks Online.

 

Here's how:

  1. Go to the Apps menu from the left panel.
  2. On the Search box, type "import". You can also click the Browser category button and select Sync data.
  3. Review the app and check system requirements.
  4. Select Get app now.

QuickBooks Online doesn't offer a native FTP option for data import, so you'll probably need a 3rd party tool to import data directly from FTP

 

One option is Skyvia. It is a no-code platform that allows you to connect to your FTP server and then import data into QuickBooks Online. You can find instructions on their site

 

Similar functionalities are offered by platforms like Zapier Workato or MuleSoft. The later one offers wider functionality but is more complex in general.
