Question

Can anyone assist me with transferring the latest invoices in my BQ desktop to online. QB Online can't assist, they don't know how to export from QB desktop?

I have the steps you can take in exporting your invoices from QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) to your QuickBooks Online (QBO), @Warren K.

To start exporting your new invoices, you’ll have to go over to every customer you want to get these invoices. Then you can follow the steps below to get them:

  1. Go to the Customer menu.
  2. From your customer selection, choose the customer you want to get these invoices.
  3. In the Transactions tab, filter this to only show Invoices.
  4. Select the available option in filtering Date.
  5. Once done, tap the Excel dropdown at the top,
  6. Select Export Transactions.
  7. Choose Create a comma separated values (.csv) file.
  8. Then, hit the Export button.

After that, we can start importing your multiple invoices at once in your QBO. Please make sure to follow the proper mapping of your CSV file and fill in the required column.

I’ll be pleased to assist you again if you have more concerns about importing data. Stay safe!

@Warren K

You can purchase a 3rd party migration service or use a migration tool. i.e TPExporter for Desktop, TPImporter for Online.
