Does anyone know how you can filter your invoices to show unsent invoices?

In the Quickbooks program you had the option to filter and see unsent invoices. However, I'm not able to locate this function on the online version. Hope someone else are able to direct me.

I know a way to display that information, alwyn.

While there isn't a specific filter designed for unsent invoices, we can easily find the transactions you haven't emailed yet by sorting the Status column in either descending or ascending order. Let me walk you through the steps:

  1. Go to the Sales menu.
  2. Head to the Invoices tab.
  3. Click the Status column until you see an arrow pointing up.
  4. Once done, all your undelivered and unsent invoices will show at the top.

Alternatively, we can pull up and export the Invoice List report to populate the data that matches your criteria. Here's how:

  1. Go to the Reports menu.
  2. Under Who owes you, choose Invoice List.
  3. Click the Customize button and set the reporting date.
  4. Scroll down to Rows/Columns, then add the Sent option.
  5. Click Run report and select the Export icon.
  6. Choose Export to Excel.

After that, open the downloaded file and filter the content to view the unsent invoices. Additionally, I've compiled a selection of articles that will provide you with valuable insights on maximizing QBO's invoicing capabilities:
