Thanks for sharing your question, RWAR.

While QuickBooks Online (QBO) doesn't have a credit limit field yet, you can enter it in the Notes field as a workaround, I'll show you the steps below:

  1. Go to Sales.
  2. Click on Customers.
  3. Select a customer and click on Edit.
  4. Click on Notes.
  5. Enter the credit limit.
  6. Click on Save.

As we continue to wok on meeting our customers needs, I encourage you to visit our QuickBooks Blog. This way, you'll be updated with our latest news and updates including product improvements.

Stay tuned for product updates. If you have additional questions, please let me know as I'd love to help you some more. Have a good one.

Thanks for your reply.

This will help in the meanwhile, it is quite important to have Credit Limits on Customers Accounts that warns you when processing Sales that you are exceeding the Limit.  Looking forward to having Credit Limit Options on Customer and Supplier's Accounts hopefully soon.

@RWAR

You may find the feature in an inventory management app.
