Glad you visited the QuickBooks Community, @loxinepharmacy-g.

Our goal is to make sure you can manage your stocks accordingly.

If you're referring to updating the quantity on hand of your stocks, there are several ways to do it in QuickBooks. To record the purchase of inventory, you can use a cheque, expense, or bills with the stock you ordered. See this:

Otherwise, if you don't want to record the purchase, you can manually adjust the quantity instead. Here's how:

  1. Go to the + New button, then Stock qty adjustment.
  2. Add an Adjustment date.
  3. Pick the appropriate accounts under the Stock adjustment account drop-down.
  4. In the Product field, add the stock item you want to adjust.
  5. For each item, enter either the updated quantity.
  6. (Optional) Add some adjustment details in the Memo field.
  7. Press Save and close when you're done with the adjustment.
