How do I add the customers vat number to the invoice?

It will only take a few clicks to add the VAT number and I'm here to guide you with the steps. Before following the steps below, please make sure to follow the steps in this article to set up your VAT feature: Set up and use automated VAT in QuickBooks Online.  

Then, follow these steps on how to display the VAT number field on the invoice:

1. Go to the Gear > Custom form styles.
2. Click the Edit link of the invoice template.
3. Go to the Content tab and select the header part of the invoice. This will display the options where you can add columns and edit the company details.
4. In the Display section, put a check mark on the Customer VAT number box.
5. Hit Done.
