Hello, @RIBA.

I understand you need to alter the date from your recurring transaction in QuickBooks Online. I'll demonstrate how to do it.

If you want to update the details based on the most recent invoice transaction, you must also update the Unscheduled template. To edit the recurring invoice, click on the Action column. We need to click the transaction to narrow down the details, then manually edit the invoice date.

Follow the steps below:

  1. Go to the Gear icon, and tap the Recurring transaction.
  2. From the Recurring List, click Edit below the Action column.
  3. We can change the Type to reminder to unscheduled.
  4. Next, set the Interval as DailyweeklyMonthly, or Yearly.
  5. Then, choose the dates you require.
  6. Lastly, Save.

This article can be a resource for recurring transaction types: Create recurring transactions in QuickBooks Online. It includes more information on creating and editing templates.

Alternatively, I'll offer this article if you need to run a report for your sales or income in QuickBooks Online. Do you need a sales summary report? Get insights into this page: Run reports in QuickBooks Online.

You also have the option to customise reports. Feel free to visit this article: How to run and customise a file in QuickBooks Online.
