Question

I am not receiving a copy of invoices and quotes, even though I have selected to be copied in?

Seems to be a flaw with the online version of quickbooks, that you can't go into the email back end and resend that invoice to a different address - I am not receiving my "copy" even though I selected it that way under settings - I was receiving them and now I am not again.

Receiving a copy of the invoice you sent to customers is a great way to monitor how much they owe you, @michael-poolguru. Having trouble performing this task can delay a part of your working progress. But don't worry, you've got the right person to help.

First off, let me first discuss some information about this.

Currently, there's an ongoing issue with some email providers blocking emails sent out of QBO. Our product developers are aware of this and work deliberately to come up with a solution. Rest assured that resolving this is our top priority, and it will remain so until it is entirely fixed.

As a workaround, you can save your customer's invoice as a PDF and email it to yourself or keep it in your desktop folder. I'll guide you on how:

    1. In your QBO account, navigate to the Sales menu and click Invoices.
    2. Next, look for the customer's invoice and click the dropdown arrow under the Action column.
    3. Select Print and click the Download icon.
    4. Follow the on-screen steps to save the PDF file.

You'll also want to check this article for guidance in handling your customer's payments: Record invoice payments in QuickBooks Online.

I'd be glad to know updates about this. If you have follow-up questions regarding the workarounds I've outlined, please don't hesitate to post a reply below. I'd be glad to offer further assistance. Take care and have a good one.
