Question

I am unable to edit existing invoices. Something i have always been able to do. When i click on save it kind of just freezes.

For now, let's start accessing your QuickBooks Online account in a private window to address potential browser issues that affect the system's functionality. You can use these shortcut keys to access them:
 

  • Safari 11 or newer: ⌘+ Shift + N
  • Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: Command + Shift + N


After you can log in using a private browser, switch back to your regular browser and clear the cache. You can also use another supported browser as an alternative.

Thank you Michaela, 

 

I have tried all of the above and still have the same issue. Once I go in to an invoice, edit the amount, and press save, the save button fades as if the page is loading. But then it just stays like that. I've noticed that if it's an invoice that has not been sent to a customer, I am able to edit it. 

 

I've attached a screen shot.
