Hi there, @sales231.

I'll share some information about rates in QuickBooks Online.

You'll need to have a transaction with VAT regardless the inventory product and services have tax or not. Let's ensure this information below so the amounts and rate will report to the VAt return and allocate correctly.

  • There are no multiple agencies

  1. Click the VAT button on the left side.
  2. Review the page if there's another tax.

  • All transactions have codes

  1. Go to the Sales tab on the left pane.
  2. Click All Sales and click the transaction one at a time.
  3. Review if there's a tax or select the correct one in the VAT column.

Please note that without codes in the transactions doesn't pull a VAT return.

Once confirmed and the issue persists, I'd recommend communicating with our QuickBooks Experts. They can double-check the main cause of your account in a private environment.

Here's how:

  1. Go to the Help menu or Assistant
  2. Write talk to human two or three times in the search box.
  3. Click Contact Support Team or Still need a human
  4. Hit Chat link, then complete the needed information.

Ensure to call them within business hours to guarantee we cater to your concern immediately.

I've also added articles about handling taxes, forms, and other related topics.
