You'll have to record a bill transaction in QuickBooks Online (QBO), @userreneesha. This way, you're able to post your creditors' invoices accordingly. I'm here to guide you how.

A creditors invoice (bill) is currently available in the Essentials and Plus versions of QBO. You may have to upgrade your subscription to utilize the said feature. Then, you'll have to use an inventory item for the Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) to populate when the product is sold.

Whenever you're ready, here's how to enter a bill to post your creditors' invoice:

  1. Go to the + New button.
  2. Select Bill.
  3. Enter all the necessary details (i.e., SupplierTermsBill dateDue date, and Bill no.).
  4. Enter the bill details in the Category details section (i.e., Amount and tax)
  5. Click Save and close.

After that, you'll have to record payments towards your bill. You can refer to this article for the step-by-step guide depending on how you pay (i.e., through credit card or cash or cheque): Record bill payments in QuickBooks Online.

Once done, I'd recommend pulling up the Bills and Applied Payments report. this is to effectively monitor your payments and the bills that go with them. Just go to the What you owe section from the Reports menu's Standard tab.

Let me know if you have other concerns about managing your creditors' invoices and other supplier transactions in QBO. I'm just around to help. Take care always
