Why does the VAT no. not reflect on the sales invoice?

I'll ensure the VAT number will show on the sales invoice in QuickBooks Online.

If you're referring to the VAT number for your customer, you'll need to ensure the information is added to their profile. Then, make sure that the VAT number box is selected on your sales invoice template. I'll show you how.

1. Go to the Gear icon.
2. Select Custom form styles.
3. Locate your form and click Edit under the Action column.
4. Choose the Content tab.
5. Hit the header part of the template.
6. Scroll down at the bottom and make sure that the VAT Registration No. box is selected.
7. Once done, click Done.

Once done, the VAT number will show when you click on the Print or Preview or send the sales invoice.
