Question

Why is it every time I search for an invoice, quote etc and open it, it takes ages to open. but if i have to open from invoice tab it opens immediately?

We highly recommend using google chrome for the best performance. If the problem persists, you may want to close other open apps or browser tabs that you aren't using right now to help QuickBooks Online run faster.

 

Each program or tab in your browser uses system resources, and if too many are open, it can cause QuickBooks to run slow.

 

Let's do some of the basic troubleshooting steps to isolate this. You can start by accessing your account using an incognito window. This mode help since it doesn't save any site data. Here are the shortcut keys:

 

  • Google Chrome: Press CTRL + Shift + N.
  • Safari: Press Command + Shift + N.
  • Mozilla Firefox: Press CTRL + Shift + P.

 

Once signed in, try using the search feature to open your invoice, quote, or any transactions. If it works, return to your main browser and clear its cache to wipe the browsing history. You can alternatively use another supported browser to access your account.
