Good day, durkanagri-gmail.

Yes, you can create a bill for your customers. I've got the steps on how you can achieve this.

You can create a billable expense so your customer can reimburse them when they receive their invoices.

Let me guide you with these steps:

First, ensure to turn on the Billable expense option:

  1. Click the Gear icon.
  2. Under YOUR COMPANY, select Account and settings.
  3. Go to the Expenses tab.
  4. Click the Bills and expenses field.
  5. Toggle the options Track expenses and items by customer and Make expenses and items billable to ON.

  6. Click Save and then Done.

Second, enter a billable expense:

  1. From the + New tab, select Bill.
  2. Enter a supplier's name.
  3. In the Category column, select the expense account for the transaction.
  4. Enter the description and amount of the expense, then select the Billable checkbox.

  5. In the Customer column, select the customer you want to bill for this expense.
  6. Click Save and close.

Then, add the billable expense to invoices:

  1. Select Invoice from the + New tab.
  2. In the Customer dropdown menu, select the customer you created a billable expense. It opens the Add to invoice window.
  3. Select Add on the billable expense you want to charge to your customer.

  4. Select Save and close.

Also, if you want to send invoice reminders, you can check this reference: Send invoice reminders automatically or manually in QuickBooks Online.

That should do it. Keep me posted if you have questions about sending invoice reminders.
