I can see the importance of assigning a customer with a different currency, itai. Let me share further information regarding this.

In QuickBooks Online (QBO), creating a customer and an invoice with multiple currencies is unavailable. Alternatively, we can create another profile for your customers for each currency they have.

Here's how:

  1. Go to the Customers & Leads menu at the left navigational panel, then choose Customers.
  2. Click New Customer.
  3. Under the Currency dropdown, you can select the currency of your customer.
  4. Fill out the Name and Contact section. You can also fill out other provided fields in the AddressPaymentsAdditional info, and Notes and Attachments section.
  5. Once done, you can click Save.

On the other hand, if you already created an account for them, you can no longer switch their currency. However, you can change the currency for an existing customer by making it inactive, then follow the steps above to create another profile for their corresponding currency. Rest assured that your previous transactions with the customer stay in QuickBooks.

After sending the invoice to your customer with a different currency, you can record the payment by following this article. Please know that the following article comes from Singapore. However, you can use this since it contains the same steps to receive an invoice payment for foreign currency: Receiving and recording payments for a foreign invoice/ bill with a foreign currency.

Please keep me notified if you have more questions about currency. I'll be around to lend a helping hand.
