Yes, you can customize the layout of your invoices in QuickBooks Online (QBO), so you can hide the Govt. UID and VAT numbers. Let me show you how.

 

There are sufficient tools in QBO to generate appealing, expert-looking sales forms. Doing so improves your business interactions, and you have control over which information appears on your invoices.

 

To do that:

 

  1. Go to the Gear icon and select Custom Form Styles.
  2. Click Edit on the template you want to customize.
  3. Select the Content tab.
  4. Click the pencil icon on the header of the sample form.
  5. In the Header section, uncheck the box for the Company registration number to hide the Govt. UID number.
  6. In the Display section, uncheck the Customer VAT number.
  7. Select Done.

 

Once you've sent out invoices to your customers, you'll have to record the payments in QBO so your accounts stay balanced.
