Hello, gopaulv.

I'm jumping here to give you some details about removing the CST and other tax-related categories.

The tax-related accounts (including CST accounts) are automatically created by the system to track your taxes. We're unable to delete or make them inactive from your Chart of Accounts.

Doing so would mess up the accounting and tax reporting, especially if you've booked transactions under them.

You can continue using your QuickBooks Online account, and just disregard or ignore those accounts you don't want to use (when creating transactions).

Need more help with other taxes? Take a moment to read these articles for more details:

Do you need help categorising your bank transactions for your books? You can check out this article for a guide: Categorise and match online bank transactions in QuickBooks Online.

I'd be glad to jump on to this thread again if you need help with your taxes or any other processes in QuickBooks. Just reply here, and I'll get back to you.
