Hello there!

It is possible to configure a Role Access Level to be Partial so the vendor or employee could View and Create Invoices but not modify them once they're saved as PDF, but without losing access or permission to attach files?

Attached screenshots as reference.  They need to be capable of attach files to an already "Saved as PDF" invoices without granting all the Modifying access.

Thank for all the help!

Let me share some information about roles and access rights in QuickBooks Online (QBO), rbjimenez_Daocom.

The option to set the users access to view and create Invoices but can't modify them once they're saved as PDF is unavailable in QBO. Once you set them to limited access, they can still modify the invoices as well as add, and delete customers, suppliers, products, and services. The only thing they can't do is to add, edit, and delete accounts and quantity on hand. To learn more about this one, see the User roles and access rights in QuickBooks Online article.

To manage user roles or permissions in the future, just follow the steps below:

  1. Sign in to QuickBooks with a user profile that has permission to manage users.
  2. Click the Gear icon.
  3. Select Manage users.
  4. Find the user you want to edit. Then tap Edit in the Action column.
  5. In the User type drop-down menu, choose the new user type.
  6. Tick the user settings, if applicable.
  7. Press Save. Then, ask the user to sign out and sign in again into QuickBooks Online to see the updates.

For the steps and details, check out the Add and manage users in the QuickBooks Online article. Feel free to visit our Manage Your Account page for more insights about managing your Intuit accounts.
