Welcome to the Community, cottonbeddingove.

I'll guide you through downgrading your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account.

Before you go through the downgrade process, please consider all options and stoppers:

  • Complete Stopper like Wholesale Billing, Multi-currency, and Global.
  • Possible Stoppers like Recurring transactions/templates, User count, Inventory, and 3rd Party Apps.

For more insights about the things that you need to consider before changing your plan, please check out this link: Upgrade or downgrade your QuickBooks Online subscription.

If you're now ready to downgrade, please follow these steps:

  1. Go to this link: https://c70.qbo.intuit.com/app/changeplan.
  2. Locate the new plan, and click Choose Plan.
  3. Review the features under your new plan, and then click Next.
  4. Take care of any stoppers that appear. In case you encounter them, fix them manually.
  5. Review your new billing details. Choose a Change plan to complete the process.
  6. Select Confirm, and then click Sign out.

To start fresh, you need to consider how long you've been using QuickBooks. For additional reference about this action, read this article: Delete your data and start over in QuickBooks Online.

In case you'll want to export your data, refer to this article for the steps: Export reports, lists, and other data from QuickBooks Online.

I'll be here if you have other questions or concerns about downgrading your plan in QBO. Just let me know in the comment section below. Take care always.
