Currency = KRW. How do I turn off ".00" at the end of every amount?

I'm operating in KRW which does not have cents. I can't sent out invoices that show x.00 KRW. It's unprofessional.  1 USD usually hovers around 1150 KRW, so a hamburger might be 5000KRW.  As you can see there is no need for two extra digits of precision.  I'll need to get this fixed or I'll be terminating my subscription.  I've included a modified screenshot to show exactly what would need to be added and where.

Currently, we don't have an option to turn off the decimal side of the amounts when sending the invoices. This works as designed. We'll take your feedback as an opportunity to improve QuickBooks Online and provide the functions essential when running your business.

That's really frustrating.  I tried Quickbooks online a few years ago and found the same problem.  I made the same request back then.  I decided to try it again in hopes that the multi-currency support had been fleshed out a bit further in the past 3 years.  From a practical standpoint, Quickbooks Online does NOT support KRW in that it does not allow for the correct formatting.  To say otherwise is not a truthful statement.  What if for USD, every number displayed as $00.000?  That may  function as you intended, but very few folks would ever adopt your software because it's not displaying the currency format in a sensible way because one tenth of a cent isn't a unit we trade in.  My case, tenths and hundredths of a KRW are being displayed even though such a denomination doesn't exist.


Having said that, if I were to use the API to write a custom module, is that something I could fix myself?  Possible solutions include-

  1. write a function to truncate the number
  2. Convert to a string and remove the last two characters
  3. Display the last two digits/characters in the same color as the background.  (replace "." with "fg color = white")

I can live with the extra 2 digits on all the internal stuff (reports, CoA, etc.) but it's simply unacceptible for any customer-facing documents (mostly invoices and quotes).

What kind of business do you run? We may recommend a specific 3d party app for your business. 

Anyway did you explore any CRM app? You may send invoices and quotes to customers and integrate it with your QBO.

Consider using QB Desktop instead for your case. You may deploy a private cloud easily to access data file by internet connection.
