Just received an email from a supposed QBs representative warning of deactivation of my QBs account. Looks authentic, but I think it’s a scam. Anyone else experiencing this?

Ensuring your account remains secure is a top priority for us. I'm here to help you report scam emails and other security concerns on our dedicated website, bill182.

Please take note of the following information to spot a suspicious phishing email easily:

    • We’ll never ask for your personal information in an email
    • Our emails will always come from an email address that ends with “@intuit.com”.
    • Any link we send you in an email will always be for an “intuit.com” address.

We encourage you to report suspicious emails so our team can quickly gather data and respond to potential threats.

Here's how you can report it:

    1. Go to this link; https://security.intuit.com/.
    2. Click Contact Us.
    3. Look for the Report a fake email (or phishing email) option and click on it.

Moreover, I've added this article as a reference in changing your account information to protect your account and keep your data secure: Update or change your Intuit Account sign-in information.

Keep me posted if you have other concerns about suspicious emails or any QuickBooks-related tasks. Just use the Reply button, and I circle back to help you.
