Greetings, @andjela-awardsin.

 

Let's first run an Account Quick Report to view the list of your transactions. Then, you can update  your bank account's opening balance. I ca guide you on how to do it.

  1. Go to the Gear icon ⚙️.
  2. Select the Accounting menu.
  3. Pick the Chart of Account tab.
  4. Locate your bank account.
  5. From the Action column drop-down menu, click the drop-down arrow.
  6. Choose Run Report.
  7. Set the date range to All Dates.
  8. Search for the earliest deposit posted that is noted as Opening Balance in Memo/Description field to open the Bank Deposit window.
  9. Edit the amount.
    • If you're not able to edit the amount directly on this screen, in some cases you can edit by selecting the Edit ✎ icon.
  10. Click Save and Close.
