Question

Hi, by mistake I have deleted an invoice and it's payment. I can see it in the audit log but don't know how to bring it back. Is it even possible? If so, how to do that?

Hi there. It'd be nice to have an option to restore a deleted transaction. 

 

For now, we're unable to restore an invoice once it is deleted. However, you can use the audit log to get the details. Then, re-record the transaction.

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Go to the Gear located in the upper right-hand corner.
  2. Under Tools, select Audit log.
  3. Select the User and Date.
  4. From the Event drop-down menu, choose Deleted/Voided transactions.
  5. Find the deleted invoice and click View to see the history.

After getting the information, you can re-create the invoice by going to + New Invoice.
