I'm here to help post a DHL inbound charges invoice and treat the VAT in QuickBooks, @cahanl10-gmail-c.

If you are using QuickBooks Online in Ireland, a default set of GST/VAT codes is created for you automatically. These represent the most commonly-used GST/VAT rates, and you can add additional tax rates or deactivate tax rates at any time.

For more information, you can utilize this article for your reference: How do I set up sales GST/VAT rates and use them on forms? (International QBO).

To post a DHL inbound charges invoice, you can add a service fee manually. Let me show you how:

  1. Proceed to Get paid & pay and choose Products and services (Take me there).
  2. Click New.
  3. Select Service.
  4. Give the fee a name.
  5. From the Category ▼ dropdown, select the category that best describes the fee. Learn more about item categories.
  6. Fill out the rest of the fields as needed.
  7. Once done, click Save and close.

Additionally, let me attach this link to help edit the sales tax rate in QuickBooks Online. It also includes some insights on what will happen when you edit sales tax rate.

I'm here anytime if you have questions managing your invoices or other QuickBooks related concerns. Have a great day!
