Addressing your question concerning changing currency is on my list, accounting.

Before we begin, are you referring to altering your home currency set in the application? If so, we can do that as long as you haven't set up the multi-currency feature yet.

To do so, you can follow the outlined steps below:

  1. Go to the Gear icon, and select Account and Settings
  2. Navigate to the Advanced tab, and go to the Currency section.
  3. Click the pencil icon to edit. Then, choose your Home Currency from the drop-down.
  4. Hit the Save button. Then Done.

On the other hand, if the option to switch your currency is unavailable, it could be that the multicurrency feature has been turned on. The system does this so it won't mess up your books, especially when adjusting the sales tax.

If you just subscribed to QuickBooks Online, you have the option to start over.

Therefore, you can check out the article below for your reference. Also, a resource you can review about turning on multi-currency
