Question

Hi I marked an invoice as paid instead of sending out a reminder for it, I then went to delete the payment and instead deleted the invoice. how restore the invoice etc

Hi there, @accounts-failsaf

 

I'm here to help you restore your deleted invoice. 

 

We are currently unable to reinstate an invoice that has been deleted. However, you can obtain data from the audit log. Then, record the transaction again.

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Go to the Gear located in the upper right-hand corner.
  2. Under Tools, select Audit log
  3. Choose the User and Date.
  4. From the Event drop-down menu, choose Deleted/Voided transactions.
  5. Find the deleted invoice and click View to see the history.

 

Once done getting the information, you can re-create the invoice by going to + New Invoice.
