I want to ensure you're able to use different currencies in QuickBooks Online (QBO), roberto.

Currently, it is not possible to change the home currency in QuickBooks Mexico. However, I can provide you with three alternative methods to address this issue, and I would be delighted to guide you through the necessary steps.

First, if your QuickBooks Online subscription is recent or less than 60 days old, we can proceed with purging your company data. This will allow you to switch the currency as desired.

Here's how:

  1. In your current QuickBooks Online subscription, go to the homepage: https://c34.qbo.intuit.com/app/homepage.
  2. Replace /homepage with /purgecompany.
  3. It will take you to the next screen. When asked, type Yes, then click OK
  4. Proceed with the data purge.

If this is an old subscription, you can cancel it and subscribe to a new one with a different home currency. I'll guide you on how to do it:

  1. Go to the Gear icon.
  2. Under Profile, select Subscription and Billing.
  3. In the QuickBooks section, click Cancel subscription.

After canceling, sign up for a new one here. Then, change the home currency and turn on your Multicurrency.

If canceling the subscription isn't viable, then you can keep the current home currency. You can use a different currency when setting up your customers. QuickBooks will use it whenever you create a transaction under that customer.

I'm willing to help out again if you have other concerns with the program. Just say the word in the Reply section below and I'll get back to you the soonest.
