I'll share some tips on you can resolve that issue, gzapata.

The Total Tax label in the footer section is non-editable. We can only change the name of the Tax column of the invoice table (see picture below).

I encourage posting a screenshot of your actual template to ensure that we're on the same page.

Did the employee import a template to replace the labels? If so, you may need to have them edit the design and upload it again. Here's how to do it:

  1. Open your DOCX template.
  2. Edit the Total Tax label, then identify the other text or fields that you don’t want change with each print.
  3. Replace all fields with scalar or table fields, as appropriate to your chosen form type.
  4. Make sure all fields match the EZ Map fields.
  5. Go to Settings in QBO, then choose Custom Form Styles.
  6. Click the New style drop-down menu, then pick Import style.
  7. Tap Upload your .DOCX file field, then find and select the template.
  8. Follow the on-screen instruction to complete the process.

However, if no file was imported, let's perform some basic troubleshooting steps to isolate this case. It could be that the outdated and corrupted cache in the browser is causing this problem in your template. To get started, open QBO company through a private window. Here are the shortcut keys:

  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Safari: Command + Option + P

If the label or title is now showing correctly, go back to your main browser and then clear the site data to enhance your browsing experience. Alternatively, you may switch to other supported browsers.
