How can I add the VAT or TAX amount against each line item in my invoice?

I'd like to take a moment to discuss how to add VAT amounts to your invoices, @userhey1.

I can see that the ability to add tax amounts to each line item on invoices is a vital feature for any business. In QuickBooks, we're always looking for ways to improve and adapt to our customer's needs. To ensure that your feedback is heard by our software engineers, I recommend submitting a product suggestion directly to them. We value your ideas and insights and want to make sure they're taken into consideration. Let me show you how:

1. Go to the Gear icon at the top. 
2. Click Feedback.
3. Enter your comments or product suggestions.
4. Then choose Next to submit feedback.

In the meantime, we can only display the total VAT calculation per line item below the subtotal. You can follow these steps to set it up:

1. Proceed to the Gear icon, then select Custom Form Styles.
2. Open your invoice template, then go to the Content tab.
3. Choose the Table section, then tick the Tax checkbox.
4. From the Footer section, turn on the Tax Summary option.
5. Click Done to save the changes.
