Question

How can I edit my packing slip? I need it to contain the customer's delivery address and I would like to add my logo but I don't see where I can edit the packing slip.

It's good to see you here, Carson.

Currently, QuickBooks Online (QBO) uses a standard format for the packing slip. Thus, you're unable to edit it.

However, you'd be glad to know that you can customise your sales forms in QBO, so you can include a logo and the customer's delivery address. Here's how:

  1. Go to the Gear icon and select Custom form styles.
  2. Click New style and select Invoice.
  3. On the Design tab, click Make logo edits, and select Add a logo. Browse for the picture you want as a logo and click Save.
  4. Go to the Content tab and select the header section of the sample form.
  5. Under the Form section, check the box for Form names and enter Packing Slip. Under the Display section, ensure to put a checkmark in the Shipping box.
  6. Once done, select Done.

While the option to modify a packing slip is unavailable, I'd encourage you to submit your suggestion to our software engineers. This way, they might consider your feature request and be included in our future product developments. To do that, click the Gear icon and select Feedback

Additionally, QBO automatically calculates sales taxes on your invoices and receipts to make filings accurate and easy. You can see this article for the steps to set it up: Set up and use sales tax in QuickBooks Online.

Let me know if you have other questions concerning packing slips. I'm always here to assist you further. Stay safe!
