I’ve got some information about the Credit note feature, @MN haulage .

At this moment, making credit notes in QuickBooks Online (QBO) app isn’t possible. You may consider logging in to your QBO account through web browsers to accomplish this task. Then, follow these steps:

  1. Select + New.
  2. Click Credit note.
  3. Fill out the fields.
  4. Select Save and close.

Check out this article to learn more about the feature: Create and apply credit notes or delayed credits in QBO. It includes steps to manually apply a credit note to an open invoice.

Once everything is good, you can use this reference to process and receive payments: Record invoice payments.

I know how convenient it is to have this transaction to apps. I recommend sharing this idea with our Product Development team. This way, they can take a look and might consider this as part of the future enhancements. I'm glad to show you the steps:

  1. Open your QuickBooks app.
  2. Go to the Gear icon, then select Feedback.
  3. Enter your comments or product requests.
  4. Select the Send feedback button.
