Let me share the details about creating proforma invoices in QuickBooks Online (QBO), neethal-futad-qa.

A proforma invoice is a bill of sale that you send to a customer before your business delivers its goods and services. It contains details such as a description of the items being sold, their price, and the total amount payable, along with any taxes and fees incurred. These details provide your customer with as precise an estimate as possible of the expected cost of their order.

In QBO, we can use the Estimate form to create a Proforma. Just customize the form and name it as a Proforma Invoice so you can easily use it whenever needed. Here's how to do it:

  1. Go to the Gear icon.
  2. Select Custom Form Styles.
  3. Click New Style and choose Estimate.
  4. From the Design tab, enter Proforma Invoice as the new title for the form.
  5. You can also add additional customization to make the form more personalise.
  6. Once finished, press Done.

To use this template, please select the Customise option at the lower right part of the Estimate form and choose the Proforma Invoice template. For your reference about the process, feel free to visit this article: Customise invoices, estimates, and sales receipts in QuickBooks Online.
