We'll have to adjust the Starting value of the inventory item to correct the starting date, Randy.

Just a reminder, it will affect the initial value of the inventory item. Here's how you can change the starting date:

    1. Go to Sales on the left menu, and select Products & Services.
    2. Look for the inventory item, and click the drop-down arrow next to Edit.
    3. Select Adjust starting value, and choose Got it! on the prompt message.
    4. In the Inventory Starting ValueRecent #START page, change the As of date.
    5. Click Save and close.

If you're unsure about making the adjustments, I'd recommend consulting your accountant. They'll know the appropriate actions to take based on your business setup. Also, you'll have to adjust the quantity on hand if needed.
