How to add a fixed sales price to a bundle?

I want to sell a package (bundle) at a fixed rate but the line items added to the bundle exceed/fall-below the fixed rate I want to sell the package for. How can I mitigate this?

I'm here to share some insights on how bundles work in QuickBooks Online.

 

The total price of items and services you've grouped together will be the final price of the bundle. Thus, we're unable to directly set a fixed sales price for bundles.

 

As a workaround, you can manually adjust the price of the bundled items upon adding them to your invoices and sales receipts. Here's how:

 

  1. Click the + New button.
  2. Select Invoice or Sales receipt.
  3. From the Customer drop-down menu, select a customer. 
  4. Review the transaction date and enter the necessary information.
  5. From the Product/Service column, select a bundle.
  6. Adjust the amount of each item comprising the bundle to match your desired sales price.
  7. When you're done, click Save and close or Save and send.
