Adding a type on the chart of accounts is easy, Carlos. Let me show you how:

 

  1. Go to the Gear icon, then choose Chart of Accounts.
  2. Click New to create a new account.
  3. Choose an account type in the Account type dropdown button.
  4. Choose the detail type that best fits the transactions you wish to track from the Detail Type selection.
  5. Name your new account.
  6. Once done, select Save and Close.
