I appreciate you adding your first post, @info-saffronchem. I'm here to help you add the information you need to your invoices and estimates today.

The system prepares a field for you to place your transaction number on the Invoice no. or Estimate no. field. However, if you need to input a serial number, utilize the Description field. Or, you may create a custom field by following these steps:

  1. Sign in to QuickBooks as an admin.
  2. Go to the Gear icon, then Custom fields.
  3. Tap on Add field. If this is your first time creating a custom field, select Add custom field.
  4. Enter a name in the Name field (Serial Number).
  5. Select the All Sales forms or Purchase Order checkbox. Or, select both.
  6. Hit Save.

Learn more about adding custom fields from this article: Add custom fields to sales forms and purchase orders in QuickBooks Online.

On the other hand, taxes will give you the % and amount equivalents.

However, converting the amounts into words is not an option for now. While it's unavailable, you can send your feedback about this feature directly to our product developers. Rest assured they're working nonstop to enhance the product and deliver the best experiences for all QuickBooks users.

Here's how:

  1. Go to the Gear icon at the top, then Feedback.
  2. Enter your comments or product suggestions.
  3. Hit Next.

Once done, your valuable suggestion goes to our designated team to help improve your experience in QBO. You can track feature requests through the QuickBooks Online Feature Requests website.

Notify me in the comment section below if you have follow-up questions. I'm always here to help. Have a great weekend!
