I've got some steps for you to create a proforma invoice, khushboo-mishra-.

Proforma Invoice is a naming template used upon customizing your invoices. Let's go ahead, create one, and send it to your customers.

  1. Go to the Gear icon.
  2. Under Your Company, select Custom Form Styles.
  3. Click New Styles.
  4. Select Invoice.
  5. On the Content tab, select the top-portion of your invoices.
  6. Under Form, select Form Names.
  7. Enter Proforma Invoice.
  8. Click Done.

You can read through the Customise sales form article for more details about this one. Feel free to visit our Manage Customers and income for more insight about managing your company income and customer transactions.

I'd like to know how things going after trying the steps, as I want to ensure this is resolved for you. Just reply to this post and I'll get back to you. You have a good one.

@khushboo-mishra-

QBO is unable to separate Proforma Invoice and Commercial Invoice. Some of our clients are having an additional app to integrate with their QBO accounts. They will issue a Proforma Invoice before the goods have been produced or delivered and a Commercial Invoice to the buyer after the goods have been delivered or shipped. The commercial invoice confirms the exact quantity of the products that have actually been loaded and shipped. They may ask buyers to countersign the Proforma Invoice or Customer Invoice by the system if required.
