I know some ways on how you can set up an account with a tax number added, @zohar-seach-co-i.

 

You can either set up an account in your Chart of Accounts or set up and use the Sales tax feature.

 

When adding the account to your COA, you'll have to first Enable account numbers by navigating to the Advanced tab from your Account & Settings page. Also, check the box for Show account numbers if you want the account number displayed on your COA. Please see the photo below for reference:

 

 

After that, you can proceed to add the account:

 

  1. Open the Accounting menu.
  2. Select Chart of Accounts, then click on New.
  3. Fill out the necessary information.
  4. In the Number field, enter the tax account number.
  5. Once done, click on Save and close.
