Question

I am an Accountant, I made the mistake of signing up for some accounts for a few clients using the same email. I want to separate them now, is this possible?

Yes, you can make changes to your accounts from your Intuit Account Manager. 

 

As an accountant, use the Intuit Account Manager to edit your info. It offers the same profile management, even if you're not signed in to your QuickBooks Online account.

From Intuit Account Manager

  1. Sign in to Intuit Account Manager. Use your QuickBooks sign-in info.
  2. Select the Sign in & security menu.
  3. Select the User ID, Email address, or Password section.
  4. Make your changes.
  5. Select Save.

If you are managing QBO Essentials or Plus accounts, it will be easier to change the email address as the new Primary Admin. But if you have a QBO Simple Start account, spare your time to chat Support.
