Hello, @usergrainneconnaught.

I'm here to ensure that you can use your updated email address while creating transactions in QuickBooks Online.

For existing invoices, you'll have to manually update the email address associated with that transaction. While new invoices it will automatically appear as the new email address when you create an invoice.

Since it doesn't appear, this could be a browser-related issue. The stored cache can affect the performance of QuickBooks which can cause unexpected behavior.

To begin, I'd suggest logging in to your QBO account via a private window. This doesn't use the existing cache files, which makes it a good place to determine if there's an issue with the browser.

Here are the keyboard shortcuts:

  • Safari: Command + Shift + N
  • Google Chrome: CTRL + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox or Microsoft Edge: CTRL + Shift + P

If it works, you need to clear your browser’s cache. This helps remove its stored cache so it'll function efficiently. Here’s an article to help you with the process: How do I clear my browser cache and temporary Internet files?

If private browsing doesn't work, I recommend using different browsers. These are Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, and Microsoft Edge. For more details, see this article's Supported browsers section: System Requirements For QBO

To learn more about changing company information, see this article: Change company name, address, email address, and privacy settings article. You can also use your Gmail address to send invoices in QBO. If you need to send an email to multiple email addresses, just do the following options:

  • Typing in multiple email addresses separated by a comma and space.
  • Using the Cc (carbon copy) or Bcc (blind carbon copy) fields.

Fill me in if you have more questions about managing your emails or other QuickBooks-related concerns. I'll be here to help you. Take care and stay safe always, @usergrainneconnaught.
