Question

I am trying to send an invoice via Whatsapp. I followed the instructions but after selecting 'Share and Close' nothing happens (no new tab for WhatsApp Web opens).

Could it be that it's because im on a trial subscription? Or maybe I am entering the number incorrectly? I am adding the country code as 00, should it be + instead? Or maybe even without the code?

I'll help you in sending an invoice via WhatsApp on QuickBooks Online (QBO), Saifistables.

A trial subscription will not affect the functionality when sending invoices. WhatsApp requires the international format starting with a + sign followed by the country code and the phone number (e.g., +1234567890).

We can perform troubleshooting steps to resolve unexpected display issues by logging into QuickBooks through a private browser. This isolates the issue, as sometimes the browser is filled with frequently accessed pages.

See the keyboard shortcuts:

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N.
  • Mozilla Firefox and Microsoft Edge: Ctrl + Shift + P.
  • Safari: Command + Shift + N.

Once you can go through after clicking Share and Close of the invoice. You can clear the cache of your regular browser to refresh the system. However, if the issue persists, try using other supported browsers.

Once done, you can send the invoice again after making adjustments and click Share and close.

Also, you can visit this article to manage and personalize your invoices: Customise invoices, estimates, and sales receipts in QuickBooks Online.

I'm here to address any other questions you have while saving and sharing your invoices on WhatsApp. I’m more than willing to assist you in ensuring everything runs smoothly.
