I am using QuickBooks online and currently having a problem creating a new supplier account. What could be the issue?

There are no reported cases about this issue, June. I'll be right here to guide you in creating a new supplier successfully.

 

To get started, I recommend signing in to your account using a private window to isolate web issues while working with QuickBooks. 

 

To save you time, use either of these keyboard shortcuts:

 

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl Shift N
  • Safari 11 or newer: ⌘ Shift N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl Shift P
  • Microsoft Edge: Ctrl Shift P

 

Then, add your supplier from there.

 

  1. Click on Expenses at the left pane, then tap on Suppliers.
  2. Select New Supplier.
  3. Complete the fields in the Supplier Information window.
  4. Hit on Save and close.

 

If it works fine, I recommend going back to your original browser and clear its cache to start fresh. You can also use another supported and up-to-date browser to narrow down the result.

 

Once your supplier is added to QuickBooks, tap on the Action column to create a bill, cheque or purchase order. Then, you can view all transactions of your suppliers and manage them.
