Thank you for dropping your concern here in the community, and I appreciate the steps you have taken, @shosukem. I'd be delighted to provide details about the home currency in QuickBooks Online.

Once you activate the Multicurrency feature in QuickBooks Online, you're unable to change your home currency or the associated information in the system. To make any changes, you'll need to start fresh and re-enter all your data.

If you've just recently signed up for QuickBooks Online, you can cancel your current company and start again.

You can also check this article for more details: Deleting all your data and starting over from scratch

However, if you haven't turned on the Multicurrency feature yet, you should be able to change your home currency. To isolate the issue, let's use a private browser, which will eliminate potential webpage issues and prevent discrepancies caused by a corrupted browser cache. Here are some keyboard shortcuts you can use:

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Safari 11 or newer: ⌘ + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Shift + Ctrl + P
  • Microsoft Edge: Ctrl + Shift + N

Once it works, proceed to your regular browser and clear its cache to refresh your website's preferences. Also, note the system's supported browser for the best and most secure experience.

In addition, you can visit this page to learn more about the Multicurrency feature: Set up and use Multicurrency in QuickBooks Online.
