I'm doing a clients bank account, I have matched some items but the remaining items are auto filling to wrong accounts, why is this?

I might have an idea of what is happening here, marcella-tonymoh.

 

If QuickBooks Online doesn't know how categorise the bank transaction, it uses Uncategorised Income, Uncategorised Expense, or Uncategorised Asset accounts to temporarily hold them. I'd recommend creating bank rules so QuickBooks can categorise the transactions to their respective accounts. After that, you can continue categorising the other bank transactions to the correct accounts: Categorise and match online bank transactions in QuickBooks Online.
