It's my pleasure to guide you in creating an invoice that shows a value-added tax (VAT) and barcode in QuickBooks Online, @Anwar-Ahmed.

Firstly, you can add and show the tax-deductible on the invoice once you've set up and used the VAT feature in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

If you want to create an invoice with taxes, we can automate your VAT calculation. I'd be glad to show you how:

    1. Follow the usual steps to create an invoice.
    2. Make sure the Location of the sale is correct.
    3. If you ship ordered items, add the shipping toshipping viashipping dateand tracking number info so QuickBooks knows where to charge your VAT.
    4. Check your taxable items in the VAT column. Note: If you haven't already, add tax categories to your products and services. This way, QuickBooks lets you know what's taxable and what isn't.
    5. Once done, click Save and send.

On the other hand, I'd suggest looking for a third-party program since QBO doesn't have a built-in barcode scanner available at this time.

    Here's how:

    1. Visit the QuickBooks Apps store webpage.
    2. Make sure to choose the state from the country drop-down.
    3. Enter the Barcode scanner in the search box.
    4. Select the one that best suits your needs the most.
    5. Go through the on-screen instructions to download and install the app.

I'll be around anytime in this forum if there's anything else you require additional assistance with when managing your invoices in QBO, @Anwar-Ahmed. Let me know below so I can provide further help.
