Question

I need to have a minus value on a products on invoices on the app for return and refund products. Please advise. I know it can be done in browser but I need it in app.

Thanks for reaching out to us regarding this invoicing concern, @iainosullivan@ho.

 

At the moment, the mobile app will only let you assign positive amounts on invoices. You will need to open your device's web browser to be able to assign negative amounts or process refunds.

 

Also, when you want to return products to your inventory, use a credit note. Assigning a negative amount for a product will not increase the quantity by the returned items.

 

To process a credit note, see these steps:

 

  1. Click on the + New icon and select Credit note.
  2. In the Customer field, select the appropriate customer.
  3. Add the Credit Note Date, Amount, Tax, and Product/Service (This is the category, product, or service you’re getting a credit for).
  4. Press Save and close.
