I can see the convenience of customising the invoice templates by making subtotal to Amount Exc VAT, @marcycpa. I'll lay out some insights about this section in QuickBooks Online.

The Subtotal section is the default option within the invoice since it is the sum of all individual line item amounts before considering any discounts, taxes, or additional charges. Having said that, I encourage you to send our developer feedback. This way, our system developer can consider adding these printing checks with a logo in QuickBooks Online.

Follow the steps below:

  1. You can go to the Gear icon.
  2. Under the Profile column, press the Feedback button.
  3. Write your product suggestion, then click Next.

Furthermore, our Product Development team receives your thoughtful comments (QBO) through the feature request tracking QuickBooks Online Feature Requests website.

There you go. I'm excited to provide more information on any Quickbooks-related topic. Please add it in the comment section. May you have a great day.
