Question

I want to setup two different invoices under the same GSTIN. But when I try to setup the second invoice the business name automatically changes to the later.

Welcome to the Community space, @mailtofaraday-gm.

I have some steps we can perform to resolve this. Let’s access your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account in a private or incognito window. This way we can check if this issue is caused by the stored cache in the browser.

Piled up data for a period of time causes uncommon behavior to the browser that affects your QBO performance. To start, you can follow these keyboard shortcuts in opening a private window:

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: Command + Option + P

Once done, set up your invoice again. If it works, go back to your regular browser and clear its cache. If the issue persists, try using other browsers to see if the is a browser integrated issue.

On top of this, I’ve added this article that can help you track and manage your GST in your QBO account: GSt reports in QuickBooks.

You can always get back to me whenever you have follow-up questions about your GSTIN. I’m only a few clicks away from you. Keep safe!
