I would like to create a second invoice template so that I can add a second bank information to send to a selected few customers?

I have a new account tat I want some of my customers to now pay into

We can create the second template for your invoice from the Custom Form Styles, Maggie.

 

Custom Form Styles allow you to select existing layouts or tailor one according to your preference. Follow the steps below:

 

  1. Go to the Gear icon at the top right corner and select Custom Form Styles.
  2. Under the New style dropdown menu, choose Invoice.
  3. A window will appear where you can change the Design, Content, and Emails tabs.

 

Additionally, you can use custom fields or a memo section to add the second bank info. Otherwise, consider utilizing the Airy New template if you're referring to an EFT detail in the invoice footer.

Thanks for the reply, I have tried it but only get the following message so cannot access it.

 

We are sorry we cannot find the page requested, You may have incorrectly typed the address or clicked on an outdated link.

 

Cannot add any custon fields or find the memo section, maybe I have the basic QB option and I have several companies with variying capabilities.

Since you've received the error when accessing the Custom Form Styles page in QuickBooks, you can perform some troubleshooting steps to help fix the possibility of a browser issue.

 

You'll want to access your account in a private browser to ensure the program runs without storing cache files. You may use these keyboard shortcuts:

 

  • For Google Chrome browser: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • For Mozilla Firefox browser: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • For Safari browser: Command + Shift + N

 

If you're able to access the page seamlessly, you may get back to your default browser and clear its cache or use a different supported browser.

 

On another note, the custom field feature is available for QBO Plus and Essential versions and can only create up to three (3) custom fields on sales forms and purchase orders.

 

If you're unable to add any custom fields, this may have reached its limit.

 

 

Additionally, you can utilize the Message on Invoice feature on your sales forms to add bank information details as a reference for customers to pay into.

 

 

Once everything looks good, you may want to track and enter customer-paid invoices and run specific reports to help review your business finances.
